Karl Brooks is a native of Easton, Md. He graduated from Easton High School where he Lettered in Baseball, Football, and Track! He made the Varsity baseball team as a freshman! His senior year was invited to the All 32 mid Atlantic showcase in Jersey City, NJ. He had offers from Seton Hall University along with Rowan College and Virginia Union for football and baseball. He decided on University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he played baseball until injury and family reasons ended his playing days. 

He moved his family to Georgia in 2001 where he began working with the youth in baseball. He held the position of the Commissioner of baseball for certain age groups in Henry County along with coaching and training baseball players. He coached and trained the youth until he was approached to run a Post Graduate Baseball Program where he put it together from 2010 until 2012. During which time he recruited well over 100 players to participate in his program from California, Bahamas , Puerto Rico, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Venezuela, Pennsylvania, among others and helped this players relieve their dreams of getting an education and playing college baseball! A couple of players has signed professional contracts! 

He served as the Georgia State Commissioner of the Metropolitan Junior Baseball League(MJBL) from 2012-2014. Currently the Chairman of the Board of Piper Davis Youth Baseball and the Director of Youth Sports for the Atlanta Sharks. He has a wife Tamika of 16 years, three children Kanige a junior in college, Kalaysia a sophomore in high school and one son Karl Jr in the 7th grade!
